Function Of Sewing Machine

    sewing machine

  • A machine with a mechanically driven needle for sewing or stitching cloth
  • A sewing machine is a textile machine used to stitch fabric, paper, card and other material together with thread. Sewing machines were invented during the first Industrial Revolution to decrease the amount of manual sewing work performed in clothing companies.
  • Any mechanical or electromechanical device used to stitch cloth or other material; normally uses two threads to form lock stitches
  • a textile machine used as a home appliance for sewing

  • An activity or purpose natural to or intended for a person or thing
  • (mathematics) a mathematical relation such that each element of a given set (the domain of the function) is associated with an element of another set (the range of the function)
  • perform as expected when applied; “The washing machine won’t go unless it’s plugged in”; “Does this old car still run well?”; “This old radio doesn’t work anymore”
  • A basic task of a computer, esp. one that corresponds to a single instruction from the user
  • serve: serve a purpose, role, or function; “The tree stump serves as a table”; “The female students served as a control group”; “This table would serve very well”; “His freedom served him well”; “The table functions as a desk”

UltraWave is the custom application software of DG Series Function/Arbitrary Waveform Generator produced by RIGOL Technologies, Inc. Users can create, edit and manage waveforms through the powerful features of the waveform editor. We will give a brief introduction for the functions and features of UltraWave here in this section.? Simple, intuitive and attractive user interface The UltraWave interface is modern style design, artistic and refreshing. From the users’ point of view, for the sake of habits and easy operations, UltraWave retains the traditional operation mode of menu and toolbar which covers the frequently used functions, and the buttons are very concise. UltraWave blends a perfect combination of traditional and modern, is attractive and practical, intricate and simple. As shown in the following figure, at the top of the display are the menu and tool bars, the left side is the standard waveform toolbar, the center is the waveform editing window, and at the bottom is the status bar. Multiple Interfaces UltraWave can communicate with the instrument through RS232, and USB (recommended) interfaces. Users can choose the interface freely as in need. Once communication being established, waveforms from DS series digital oscilloscopes or DG series digital signal generators can be imported. Users can also edit waveforms and send them to the generator and observe the waveform from an oscilloscope. Abundant Graphic Drawing Mode UltraWave provides nine standard waveforms to meet the most general needs of users. It provides capabilities of hand drawing, line (point by point) drawing and arbitrary points drawing thus make the generations of complex waveforms much easier. The multi-file management interface enables users to edit multiple waveforms. Moreover, UltraWave provides precise input mode for line drawing and arbitrary points editing, therefore users can draw accurate pulse, peak or jump to a specific time and point.

I just got my singer 306K put onto a treadle base. in installed a spoked hand wheel and made a minor modification to the bobbin winder so that it was closer to the hand wheel to function properly. It treadles very well. Know I’m having my wife be on the lookout for a couple of drawers from a treadle cabinet so that I can put them on the left hand side.

I have an old-fashioned hand-operated Singer sewing machine my grandparents gave me when I was a small child – I have always loved it’s ‘traditional’ look, and was experimenting with the macro function on my camera.
This is a close-up shot of the hand wheel that I played around with in Picnik
